Tiger Productions

Patty Holland’s diverse background serves her well, as President and Executive Producer of Tiger Productions, Inc. Most recently, Ms. Holland was asked to work on the 2006 & 2007 Academy Awards. DMS Production Service needed an experienced producer who could handle the stress of gathering the visual elements for all of main show Nominee segments and for ten (10) different editors. All within a six-week time constaint given to piece the three hour awards show together. Ms. Holland was also asked to work on the gathering the elements for the Academy Awards SCITECH achievements, simulatanously.

Just prior to taking on the Academy Awards challenge, Ms. Holland took on the challenge of Executive Producer of Original Programming and Development with i.d.e.a.s. Entertainment. Her responsibilities included creating, writing, packaging, budgeting, pitching and negotiating directly with over thirty-five (35) Television Networks that she developed personal one-on-one relationships. Ms. Holland also developed partnerships, when needed, with the packages and oversaw production.

Before working with i.d.e.a.s. Entertainment she was the Producer of a Court TV Pilot airing on the series The System titled “INSIDE THE YELLOW LINE” about the FBI: Evidence Response Team for Los Angeles based; Donna Kanter Company. In addition, Ms. Holland supervised four other projects for the Kanter Company simultaneously.

Holland was Producer/Show Runner, for the LIVE to Tape Pilot INVENTION SHOWDOWN, based in Las Vegas, for The Discovery Channel. Producing an Independent documentary film, in a Cine’ma Ve’rite’ format, had Ms. Holland spending 6 months in Atlanta, Ga. Another Producing credit for Holland is the highly rated two-hour documentary film special for The History Channel, The Mysteries of Amelia Earhart. Producing, Directing and Writing “Baby Steps”, for FOX: The Health Network was one of Tiger Productions/Holland greatest challenges. Other accomplishments include her role as the Florida Coordinating Producer for a LIVE BBC telecast from Universal Studios Florida, the LIVE to Tape CBS show Pictionary, and a LIVE four days TV special event with Time Warner Communications as both Producer and Assistant Director. With numerous completed projects under her belt, Holland, as most independents, has been responsible for all aspects of Production, including writing, pitching, packaging, directing and producing, coordinating, scheduling, equipment, budgeting, LIVE feed coordination.

As Director of Special Projects for the Ilya Salkind (Superman Movies) Jane Chaplin (Charlie Chaplin’s daughter) Entertainment Company (SCENT Film), her duties included Development, Research, and Public Relations/Marketing responsibilities.

While President of her own Talent Agency she became Florida’s political lobbyist for three tough years on Entertainment issues. Ms. Holland’s straightforward approach, diplomatic edge, and no-nonsense attitude proved successful with the passing of legislation on many entertainment issues. During her efforts Holland became Florida State Department of Professional Regulations and State Attorney’s office expert witness on Talent Agency Laws.

Early in her career a scholarship in music lead Ms. Holland to Western Carolina University in North Carolina. It was there that she became motivated to produce Musical Theatre. Years later the legendary Director/Producer George Abbott told Patty that producing was her calling. Stunned by Mr. Abbott’s flattering remarks, but taken to heart, she never looked back and has been Producing ever since.

A six-day event for Bayer Pharmaceutical found Holland Producing every element of their Business Theatre Convention. In the first six months of Producing many other Fortune 500 company events for the Marriott World Center, Ms. Holland packaged, sold and Produced over one million dollars in production and continued to break Corporate sales records.

The passion Ms. Holland puts into her work makes the expectations of those affiliated with her projects extremely high and she makes no apologies for her demands about detail. Holland feels the end product is much more satisfying when everyone involved in a project can take pride in a good production and not just the Producer.
